BOYS' BRIGADE BAHAMAS PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE LATE
COMRADE VERNON MAXWELL PINDER
1925 -2024

In tribute to the late Comrade Vernon Pinder, a revered World War II veteran, the Bahamas Boys Brigade National Council pauses to honour his remarkable life of service and sacrifice solemnly. Comrade Pinder exemplified the highest ideals of courage, resilience, and patriotism, embodying the spirit of heroism that defined his generation.​
As we reflect on his enduring legacy, we recognize the invaluable contributions he made not only to his country but also to the global community. Through his unwavering dedication and selflessness, Comrade Pinder was an inspiration to all who knew him with his indomitable spirit and unwavering commitment to duty, not only as a veteran but also as a reserve officer of the Royal Bahamas Police Force.​.
In his honour, we pay tribute to a true hero, whose courage and sacrifice will forever be etched in the annals of history. May his memory continue to shine brightly, serving as a guiding light for future generations to follow. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this time of mourning. Comrade Vernon Pinder's legacy will endure as a testament to the enduring power of the human spirit in the face of adversity. Old soldiers never die they just fade away.
